Ray & Misty

Ray, a minister with a PhD, and Misty, an attorney with a JD, married in 2020 and founded Reclaiming Hope Ministry. Together they write, speak, and coach on marriage and mental wellness through Peachtree Press LLC. Their blended family includes five sons, a grandson, and Lily Belle the pup.

Steve & Kim Higginbotham

Steve has preached full-time since 1984 and currently serves the Karns congregation in Knoxville, TN. He also teaches at the Southeast Institute of Biblical Studies. He and his wife Kim met at Freed-Hardeman and together raised four children.

Josh & Amanda Ketchum

Married since 2000, Josh and Amanda share a heart for family, faith, and ministry. Josh has preached for nearly three decades and now teaches Bible, leadership, and preaching at Freed-Hardeman University. Amanda is a devoted homeschool mom and preacher’s wife. Together, they inspire couples with their example of love, service, and commitment.

Glenn & Cindy Colley

Glenn has preached for over 45 years and now works with Gospel Broadcasting Network. He and Cindy, married 44 years, have two children and are co-authors of multiple books on family and faith. Glenn also leads gospel meetings worldwide and serves on boards for Lads to Leaders and GBN.

Adam & Leah

Married 26 years, Adam and Leah live in Paducah, KY, where they share a love for teaching Bible classes and strengthening families. College sweethearts from Freed-Hardeman, they enjoy traveling, watching old sitcoms, and finding joy in everyday moments together.

Mike & Cherie Vestal

Married since 1983, Mike and Cherie have dedicated their lives to ministry and family. Mike has preached for nearly 25 years with the Westside congregation in Midland, TX, and speaks regularly across the country. Together, they share a love for teaching, serving, and encouraging strong Christian homes.

Ray & Misty

Ray and Misty’s story began on a back pew, where God brought two broken pieces together into a masterpiece. Married in 2020, this South Alabama couple has blended their talents and passions into a unique ministry. Ray, a PhD minister with a passion for souls, and Misty, a JD attorney with a gift for healing, have poured themselves into Reclaiming Hope Ministry, speaking and writing on marriage and mental wellness. Through their company, Peachtree Press LLC, they’ve authored books and resources to encourage Christians. Their family includes five sons, a grandson, and a beloved pup, Lily Belle. When not ministering, Ray enjoys Jeep adventures while Misty relaxes with Downton Abbey or Dateline.

For the past 15 years, he has ministered with the Karns congregation in Knoxville, TN, while also teaching as an instructor at the Southeast Institute of Biblical Studies. Steve and his wife Kim met while students at Freed-Hardeman University, and together they have raised four children. Their shared love for God and family continues to shape their ministry and marriage.

Josh & Amanda Ketchum

Josh and Amanda Ketchum both grew up in Southeast Missouri, just miles apart, but didn’t meet until attending Freed-Hardeman University in 1998. They married on January 1, 2000, and today are the proud parents of four children: Austin, Brooke, Landon, and Caleb. Their family life is filled with athletics, travel, homestead projects, and time outdoors exploring National Parks.

Josh has been preaching the gospel for 28 years, serving nearly 18 years with the Seven Oaks Church of Christ in Mayfield, KY, before joining the Freed-Hardeman University faculty in 2021. There, he teaches Bible, leadership, and preaching, while the family also serves part-time with the Beacon Church of Christ near Parsons, TN. Amanda is a dedicated homeschool mom and preacher’s wife who manages their busy household with care and love.

Together, Josh and Amanda exemplify faith, commitment, and teamwork in marriage. Their life of ministry and family devotion encourages couples to pursue God’s plan for lasting love.

Glenn & Cindy Colley

Glenn, a third-generation preacher, has spent over 45 years in full-time ministry and currently serves with the Gospel Broadcasting Network. He and his wife Cindy, married for 44 years, are known for their teaching, writing, and leadership in Christian family life. Together they’ve authored books such as Awake at Night, You’re Singing My Song, and Crown of Creation. Glenn has preached in campaigns and mission work around the world, from Africa and South America to India, Samoa, and Ukraine. A graduate of Freed-Hardeman University, he writes regularly for Spiritual Sword magazine and serves on the boards of Lads to Leaders and GBN. Glenn and Cindy’s children, Caleb and Hannah, continue their family legacy of faith.

Adam & Leah

Adam and Leah have been married for 26 years and make their home in Paducah, Kentucky. Leah, originally from Alabama, and Adam, from Missouri, met at Freed-Hardeman University when Leah asked Adam out — and they’ve been inseparable ever since. Together they’ve raised two children, walked through life’s highs and lows hand-in-hand, and developed a deep love for teaching Bible classes and encouraging strong Christian families. Whether enjoying date nights, reminiscing over classic 80s sitcoms, or celebrating milestones like their 25th anniversary in Charleston, they exemplify the joy of a Christ-centered marriage.

Mike & Cherie Vestal

Mike and Cherie Vestal met at Freed-Hardeman University and married in 1983. For nearly 25 years, they have served the Westside congregation in Midland, Texas. Their family is a blessing: two children, four grandchildren, and a son, David, who preaches for the Lord’s church in Mathis, TX.

Mike has been preaching for decades, sharing the gospel in 37 states and six foreign countries. He is a frequent speaker on brotherhood programs such as Polishing the Pulpit (PTP) and Focal Point and serves as an adjunct instructor at Bear Valley Bible Institute in Denver, CO.

Mike and Cherie’s marriage, ministry, and devotion to family reflect their love for God and His people. Their example inspires couples to build lasting marriages rooted in faith and service.
